If Emsada reports an agent has an anti-virus product installed that is not installed, this can be caused by the missing anti-virus’s uninstallation not fully completing.
To fix this:
- From the Emsada agent’s details tab, click the Services tab then stop the service Windows Management Instrumentation.
- Rename, or delete the Repository folder in C:\Windows\System32\WBEM (this can be done on the device itself, or via the agent’s Command Prompt tab).
- Restart the service Windows Management Instrumentation.
- Restart the device (this can be scheduled from within Emsada using the Restart Machine At… button).
- When the agent next checks into Emsada the anti-virus status should correctly reflect the installed products.
